Jesus planned for you to reign in life.

Recently a family member bought a Roomba vacuum cleaner. This little round robot knows when it’s battery is running low and will return to its base to charge before continuing to clean its designated path.

Too often we forget to return to home base and find ourselves worn out because we haven’t redirected to the word of God to charge our batteries. His word is life giving and will strengthen us and direct us in the way we need to go. When we declare His word over our lives we will gain fresh perspective and be reminded of His great love for us.

Sometimes when we are tired and haven’t taken time to recharge we can be more vulnerable to believe the whispers of the enemy. When we feel like God has forgotten us, the word tells us that He loves us with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3). We might wake up wondering if what we are doing will ever bear fruit. Psalm 1:3 tells us that we are firmly planted and well watered by the Holy Spirit and will bear much fruit.

When we face circumstances that are hard and bring feelings of fear, we can meditate on Isaiah 41:10 that reminds us not to fear because our God is always there to strengthen us and give us victory. Take time this week to let the word of God soak your heart and be reminded of His great love and faithfulness to you, His beloved. “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." Psalm‬ ‭119:105‬ ‭NIV‬‬
