Presence Carriers

Do you know that when God created you and fashioned you with purpose and destiny, He also designed you to be a carrier of His Presence? Most of us go about our lives and forget that wherever we go, we host the Presence of the King of Kings, because Holy Spirit dwells in us. That means that our very presence will release peace and order. When we pray for people or encourage someone, the peace of God will settle an anxious soul. His Presence in us will release the peace of heaven. People might say of you, “there’s something different about you.” They are right! What they are perceiving is His Presence on you.

What amazes me, is this is by design! Our Father in his wisdom and love for mankind, created us to carry his Presence so that many could taste of his goodness and kindness.

His Presence is supposed to be made manifest through our lives as we love people, as we pray bold prayers of faith, as we rebuke the enemy and shift atmospheres.

You might ask, “ what does that look like for me?” There are opportunities all around us to make his glorious Presence known. It might look like a kind word given to someone at the grocery store or praying with someone and having them experience the manifest presence of God as you speak peace over them and declare them healed and delivered. So often we underestimate the impartation of His Presence that comes from our lives because Holy Spirit lives in us.

Bill Johnson says it so well : ”Because of the Holy Spirit living inside me, I am able to do the very works that Jesus did. His experience is an example for what I should expect from my Christian life. Thank you Lord, that I can do all things because of Your Presence living in me.”

Ask the Lord to show you moments in your every day life where you can release his Presence to others, where you can affect atmospheres because of who lives in you.

“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.”

‭‭John‬ ‭14:16-17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

“Don’t you realize that together you have become God’s inner sanctuary and that the Spirit of God makes his permanent home in you?”

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭3:16‬ ‭TPT‬‬
